Our story
Unaro Nordic was founded in 2025, when two of the Nordic region’s most established players — Paragon Nordic and Svenska Krämfabriken Dalarna — joined forces, bringing nearly 70 years of experience and craftsmanship in formulation, manufacturing and brand development into one focused team.
The story begins in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1956 with Aerosol Packing — later Aerosol Scandinavia and then Paragon Nordic — a pioneer in aerosol manufacturing. Over the decades, the company expanded its product range beyond aerosols, introducing new formulations and formats across cosmetics, chem-tech and food categories.
Through innovations and strategic acquisitions, it grew into a multi-site operation spanning Sweden and Norway, working successfully with brands from the other side of the world, as well as from the other side of the city.
Meanwhile, in Dalarna, Sweden, another story was unfolding. Svenska Krämfabriken was formed in 2014 through the merger of two family-run companies, Simplus and RFM Brands, with product brands reaching back as far as 1987. Early on, the company developed and marketed brands of their own with emphasis on lotions and creams of topical use, but with time focus was turned to contract development and production for numerous well-known brands.
This subsidiary, named Svenska Krämfabriken Dalarna, further strengthened its capabilities in 2019 by acquiring CCS Healthcare, with roots dating back to the 1970s, broadening the product offering and consolidating production. The company has since come to be a key market player in face, body and oral care products.
While Unaro Nordic doesn’t own consumer brands, our background gives us valuable insight into brand owners’ challenges — and the ability to support them in developing premium products.
