Processing of *personal data*
When you apply for a job at Unaro Nordic, we use your personal data only to manage the recruitment process and get to know you as a candidate. Your information is handled with care, shared only with those involved in the hiring, and deleted once the role is filled unless you join us.

Data controller
Unaro Nordic is the data controller for the recruitment process, meaning we are responsible for how your personal data is handled. Contact details for Unaro Nordic or the responsible hiring manager are always included in the job advertisement, except when an external recruitment service is used.
Applicants with protected identity
If you have a protected identity and wish to apply for a position with us, please contact the person responsible for the recruitment directly. Do not apply online or send personal data by email. You may call Unaro Nordic’s main switchboard, which will help you get in contact with the appropriate person.
Why we process your personal data (Purpose and legal basis)
You provide your personal data to us voluntarily as part of your job application. However, if you choose not to provide the requested information, we will not be able to consider your application.
We process your personal data to manage the recruitment process, assess candidates, and decide whom to offer employment. The legal basis for this processing is Unaro Nordic’s legitimate interest in recruiting employees.
In accordance with the Discrimination Act, we may also retain personal data after a recruitment process has ended. This is necessary in case a recruitment decision is questioned or challenged.
We also process personal data to comply with our legal obligations under employment and labor law.
Aggregated data such as the number of applicants, gender, age, and education level may be processed for statistical purposes. This information is anonymized and cannot be linked to any individual.
What personal data we process
We process the personal data that you provide in your application or during the recruitment process. This may include your name, personal identity number, address, telephone number, email address, education, certificates, references, work experience, and any other information you choose to share with us.
To take part in the recruitment process, you must provide the information requested in the job advertisement. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal data or information that is not relevant to the position.
Personal data from other sources
We only process personal data that you have provided to us directly.
Who has access to your personal data?
Your personal data is only accessed by employees at Unaro Nordic who are directly involved in the recruitment process.
We may also share your personal data with trusted data processors who process data on our behalf, for example recruitment system providers. All such processing is governed by data processing agreements and carried out in accordance with GDPR requirements.
How long we store your personal data
We delete all personal data and any attachments 3 months after the recruitment process is completed and the position has been filled.
If you are offered and accept employment, your personal data will be stored for the duration of your employment in accordance with applicable laws.
